This week we watched the unapologetically optimistic, sci-fi adventure film starring George Clooney and Britt Robertson, "TOMORROWLAND."
This one really flew under the radar and was met with middling response from audiences and critics alike, but overall it is a fun ride from start to finish. The lead character Kasey (don't worry, we talk about it), is a bright-eyed and intelligent kid with aspirations of making the future a better place for all. "Kasey acquires a mysterious pin that shows her a utopian, futuristic world of tomorrow and she seeks out the aid of someone who has been there once upon a time, played by a stiff, but still charming George Clooney, the pair set off on a perilous journey, battling robots, the elements and time itself, in an effort to save the future! The movie was directed by Brad Bird who is mostly known for his contributions through animation like "The Iron Giant" "Ratatouille" and "The Incredibles," really set out to create something special and it does offer a great message.
Hope you enjoy!
