Description

This week we watched "WISH UPON A STAR" A body-switch movie with a new twist. Sisters Alexia (Katherine Heigl) and Hayley (Danielle Harris) are total opposites; Alexia is a pretty, popular high school senior who seems only concerned with maximizing desirability and getting into a decent college, and her sister Hayley is more academically driven and into green energy! One night, Hayley observes a shooting star and makes a wish to have her sisters life, and the next morning that wish comes true in a most unexpected way: the sisters switch bodies! Now the two will have to come to some mutual understanding if they are going to get through this surreal situation with their reputations in tact. Thus begins a wild set of events where the sisters bond and get to know each other better. Featuring some very dated but fun music and a outstanding supporting cast, including two of the weirdest yet most effective parents we've seen in a while! Hope you enjoy!

Be sure to vote on what we should watch next week:

JUNGLE 2 JUNGLE - Tim Allen stars as a workaholic, egotistical wall street executive who learns he has a long lost son who was raised on a remote island. It's a clash of cultures as the son, named Mimi-Siku, will adapt to his new urban surroundings and connect with his father who in turn learns to appreciate life and family more.

THE JUNGLE BOOK (1994) - This was the first of Disney's live-action reimagining's of their animated classics. Bet you thought it was 101 Dalmations, didn't ya? This movie stars Jason Lee Scott who you might recognize as Liu Kang in the Mortal Kombat movies and, in an uncharacteristically villainous role, Cary Elwes. The story of a boy raised by jungle animals finds himself thrust into the world of man when an old friend discovers him in the untamed land. Unable to accept his primitive nature, people start to try and civilize Mowgli but ultimately Mowgli must learn to accept both who he is and the world that surrounds him. This movie is filled with romance, fun and adventure.
