Shalina Warrior is a Geologist and Crystal enthusiast. Owner of Truth Minerals, Shalina sources all her inventory in the U.S., and lovingly tumbles her stones in Seabrook, Texas. Shalina's passion for sharing crystals and what they represent with the world led her to create Truth Minerals 2 years ago. Since then, she has found many miners, and has mined many of her treasures herself. Our conversation focused today on the topic of Love. Topics we covered were how to change our story and perspective and instead of looking at a difficult reality with resentment, turning to gratitude. How we can transmute suffering with a deep gratitude practice (as a tool). Her childhood was very difficult, and at times she felt like a victim of it, but at some point decided to be grateful she had a roof over her head and a safe environment to grow up in. Her grandmother was from the depression era and suffering and hard labor was part of her mindset. Many weekends were spent cleaning grout with a toothbrush. There were many lessons learned there.
Shalina has a heart of gold and has learned to reframe her relationship to tough situations by pouring love into them instead of anger and resentment. It does has to come from the heart, it can't just be a choice to say specific words. You have to FEEL it.
