In this episode, we will be talking about the Covid-19 vaccine roll out. This episode is mainly based on information given by the Ministry of Health of Kenya. Disclaimer: I am not a medic or a scientist, I cannot answer medical questions about the vaccines, I am simply giving information that the Ministry of Health has made public so that you are aware of the vaccine rollout process.
We will be covering a few main questions: When are the vaccines coming? Which vaccine are we getting? Who is paying for the vaccine? How much money are we spending? Who gets the vaccine when? Where is the vaccine being administered? What is the Ministry of Health doing in preparation?
The portal where you can register (www.chango@health.go.ke) to receive your vaccine. This is only for health workers, teachers, and security forces during the first phase of the rollout.
