Historical novelist Jack Maher is a proud fifth generation Colorado native and grandson of Eric Douglas, pioneering Denver Art Museum curator, Native arts champion and the focus of Jack's best-seller "Poppy: A Novel About A Colorful Colorado Life." Prior to becoming a novelist, Jack worked at top rated NBC affiliate KUSA-TV in Denver as a 9NEWS Multimedia Journalist and Executive Producer. A four time Emmy winner, Jack is the recipient of multiple broadcasting honors from the Associated Press and the Colorado Broadcasters Association.
