Description

Hello everyone and welcome to A Pretty Normal Podcast, a show that re-imagines what society considers normal. Each week I  interview different guests about the topics they’re most passionate about. I wanted to start off by giving my update during this Covid-19 pandemic. As of today, New York City has shut down schools, restaurants, and theaters. This follows the government order to reduce business capacity. My wife and I have started social distancing and will be self-quarantined in our apartment. Everyone please stay safe and lets try our best to not attend crowded areas. We need to do everything we can to curb the spread of this so that our healthcare system does not get overwhelmed. This week I had the opportunity to interview Heather Slingerland, a NYC photographer with a background in psychology and studio art who focuses on photographing people. We spoke about her photography projects which have focused on motherhood, femininity, senior immigrants and more.  Thank you to everyone who supports the show and has shared the show with a friend or a loved one. A special thank you to our guest, Heather Slingerland for coming on the show.
