In honor of Mental Health Awareness Month in May, we are bringing on two friends from the Mental Health Initiative in SASE, Aishwarya Mantagani and Alex Hattori. We talked about their mental health journeys, how they navigate conversations with their family, the difference between stress and burnout, and why mental health is important to them. Through their experiences, navigating this space with support systems of family, friends, and peers is a great resource to have, we encourage you to check in with your friends! A simple “how are you” can go a long way! :)
Here at The Adult Table, we heavily advise that if you are suffering with your mental health to please seek a medical professional for help.
