The ancient Israelite sacrificial system is tough on our 21st century sensibilities. But it is worth pushing through the challenges to seek deeper understanding on just what Jesus accomplished on the cross. Those former things are a significant shadow that point us to the incredible realities of where we now stand by the mercies of God.
