This week's interview is with Geoff Haddaway, a hockey coach with extensive experience in both the men's and women's game.
Geoff has won numerous Coach of the Year accolades, has served as a coach with Team Ontario U18 at several National Championships, and has worked with Hockey Canada at their development camps.
Geoff is currently in his 9th season as head coach of the Cambridge Rivulettes, and is also in his 9th year of serving as a High Performance 1 Mentor Coach and Field Evaluator.
In this interview, Geoff and I tackle topics such as:
The evolution of personal coaching philosophy over time.
How to strike a balance between coaching and life outside of the rink.
The challenges related to COVID that coaches are currently facing, and strategies for how to make the most out of what is a difficult situation.
Enjoy!
