This week's episode features Kim McCullough. Kim is the Director & Founder of Total Female Hockey, an organization that empowers players and coaches in the female game with the information and inspiration they need to drive their own success. For the past 13 years, Coach Kim has worked with thousands of players and teams across North America, both on and off the ice, sharing her experiences and expertise on how to get to, and excel at, the next level. She draws from her own experiences as a former NCAA D1 captain and professional hockey player who started playing the game in her early teens and creates the resources she always wished she had access to (but didn't exist) when she was coming up.
In addition to her work with TFH, Coach Kim has been a bench coach for 12 seasons with the Toronto-Leaside Girls Hockey Association, the organization she played for growing up, and has served as the Head Coach of the Toronto-Leaside Junior Wildcats team in the Provincial Women's Hockey League for the past 7 seasons. Kim has coached at the university, provincial and national team level and was inducted into the Leaside Sports Hall of Fame in 2019. Kim was also recently named the Director of Hockey Operations for the Toronto-Leaside Girls Hockey Association, a newly created role that puts her in charge of culture, coaching and player development for the largest girls hockey association in the world. Kim is also the mother of 3 young kids (age 2, 4 and 6) and is married to a terrific non-hockey playing husband - all of whom keep her grounded and slightly less hockey focused.
