After studying Mechanical Engineering and then Sports Rehabilitation, Julie had her first experience in sport at Leicester City FC. After 3 years there, she embarked on a 11-year career with Leicester Tigers which progressed from massage therapist to head of medical services before she left the club to drive and develop her private practice, Function Jigsaw. Since then, she has had roles at Worcester Warriors and UK Athletics.
