Mat Best co-founded the Black Rifle Coffee and has served as Chief Branding Officer since the company’s launch. Prior to Black Rifle, he founded Article 15 Clothing and created multiple brands, including Leadslingers Spirits and the Drinkin’ Bros Podcast. While serving in the U.S. military, Mat deployed five times to Iraq and Afghanistan, serving in the 2nd Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment. After his military service, he did contract work for the CIA for five years. Mat has a BA from Ashford University.
