Burn the ships!
I would assume that you are familiar with the story of where this saying originated. It comes from 1519 during the Spanish conquest of Mexico, when Hernán Cortés the Spanish commander, burned his ships so that his men would have to conquer or die. Basically, he created a point of no return for himself and his men.
In today's episode I want to talk about how the idea of having a plan B sounds both wise and safe but it actually prevents us from fulfilling the purpose that God has put in our lives. The reality is that our plan is really the plan, and your brain thinks that it is protecting you by having a plan "B".
God has put everything in place for you to succeed in your life purpose. The purpose of life is not just trying to survive but to live a life that brings glory to his kingdom and is attractively different…and as you'll see today, this starts with having an attitude of excellence with what may feel like a "small assignment.
