We are so excited to start a brand new story with both the parasha and Book of Shemot! We hear about our ancestors’ entry to Egypt and are introduced to Moses—baskets, burning bushes, and bringing some awesome women into the story! We’re so excited to have an extraordinary guest with us this week—Rabbi Jessica Minnen—who celebrates some irreverent Torah summaries with us and brings her own spice to the story of Shemot (the first piece of Torah that she had ever studied)! Fun fact: we bring it back to the documentary of The Prince of Egypt.
