Brian Hill introduces us to the world of Positive Psychology. Traditional psychology focuses on treating the ill, while positive psychology focuses on what actually creates a full-filling life... We learn that measuring happiness is too broad. Instead of happiness, we use the word well-being. Well-being is made up of five components: Positive Emotion, Engagement, Relationships, Meaning, and Accomplishment. (PERMA) If we contribute a little to each area, our lives will begin to flourish. We also learn what's been proven to not bring LASTING happiness.
