You met Heidi in April 2021. We went to graduate school together at Emporia State University in Emporia, Kansas. I would not have made it through without Heidi's friendship. As we talk again, we are more aware of our lives as 50-something women and everything that goes into getting older. The aging parents, the separate lives of siblings and how we plan to leave our mark on the world. We reflect on what we thought our lives would be, while being so grateful for what we have.
