He was told he would never walk again after having a stroke. Defying the odds with the help of his strong and inspiring wife, he continues to create soulful music and play for his loyal fans. His latest song was written while he was recovering, “Power of a Woman,” an homage to his wife and other strong, independent women in the world. He has a new five-song EP called The Optimystic.
