The Invisible Man is based on the science fiction story written by H G Wells way back in 1897. The story has been adapted multiple times in movies right from black and white era. The last adaptation that was loosely based on the story was in 2000 movie Hollow Man starring Kevin Bacon and Elizabeth Shue.
