Pada kesempatan kali ini, saya akan menambahkan jawaban dari pertanyaan Saudari Merisha Via Fandini yang bertanya kepada kelompok 6. Adapun podcast yang saya buat ini ditujukan untuk memenuhi salah satu tugas mata kuliah Bahasa Inggris Aplikasi II, yang diampu oleh Pak Dr. Syaifullah, M.Si dan Bu Nisrina Nurul Insani, M.Pd. What are the positive and negative impacts of the era of disruption in the field civic education? (Merisha Via Fandini)

Jawaban:

The influence of technology and fast communication in this era of disruption also has an impact on the high use of social media used by the community (Triyanto & Fadhilah, 2018). This is indicated by social media which is now increasingly mushrooming, causing anti-social behavior and fading good habits that are rooted in the values ​​of Pancasila in the community, especially students (Amedie, 2015; Nasihuddin, 2016), not to mention the imbalance in moral attitudes that occur in schools and in society. Furthemore, in this era of disruption, the character of citizens is increasingly being eroded by increasingly sophisticated technology and information flows, foreign (foreign) cultures are increasingly spreading in the country until local culture is threatened, the behavior of political elites threatens political sovereignty, young generations who are brutal, easily discouraged, juvenile delinquency, radicalism threatens the integrity of the Republic of Indonesia, LGBT (Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Trans gender) castrate culture, ethics and human nature, to the problem of human rights injustice in various aspects of life (Lestari: 2017 , p. 27). This indicates the need to improve Pancasila values ​​in the education process carried out through the process of community, national and state life.

Meanwhile, the positive impact of the era disruption for civic education is that it is able to encourage digitization in the education system. Teaching and learning activities will change completely. Classrooms have evolved with digital learning patterns that provide a more creative, participatory, diverse and comprehensive learning experience. So that this makes it easy for civic education in achieving learning goals, namely forming smart and good citizens.
