Daren is a Learning Technologies Lead for 2 secondary academies and a lead innovator for the Academies Enterprise Trust incorporating 58 schools across the UK. Daren has been teaching for 22 years and has over 10 years experience as a senior leader prior to his current role. As a Google Certified Trainer, Coach and Innovator #VIA20 he is also co-leader of GEG UK and Global GEG.
He is also an ambassador for a number of edtech companies including Mote, Wevideo and Wakelet as well as a Bookcreator certified author.
Daren is also the founder and director of www.myedtechbuddy.co.uk - interactive, self-paced, edtech PD for school staff and since launch in October has awarded over 650 badges.
Daren also hosts his own podcast anchor.fm/myedtechbuddies and is soon to host the Schools Show every Tuesday on @WeAreJoyFM
