B2B Energy 12 Days of Christmas – Day 2
Good morning, good afternoon, and good evening and welcome today to B2B Energy's 12 days of Christmas.
Today I want to focus on the key areas of energy management and those key areas really
do help us focus on the actual reducing of energy waste, and they are Heating, Cooling,
Lighting, Power, Energy Management and Water. The reason we include water is
because we pump the water from A to B, and it is quite likely that we are
heating the water as well.
Now, right
in the middle of that, I said the word energy management, what does that mean?
Well, that is the people. That is how we manage energy and how we review
energy. Therefore, within the energy management section, that could be
reporting and understanding how we are using energy, and they could be tools,
the processes, or best practices that we put into that area. They are all the
areas that we need to be focusing on, and it will help you as an organisation
to understand where you need to start there.
Just to reclarify that, that is Heating, Cooling, Lighting, Power, Energy Management and Water.
