An Electronics & Communications engineer by qualification, he started his career in 1986 as a Research Assistant in the field of high energy cosmic rays from celestial objects.He gained good experience in hardware design and development of software in Machine Code. He worked in the IT industry from 1989 starting from Main Frame computers to design and implementation and Project Manage large networks in India, Oman and UAE

Mr. Kanal is a senior professional, with many years of solid technical and project management experience gained in a variety of industrial sectors including Hospitality, Education, Oil & Gas and Health Care. He brings a considerable 34 years plus of project & technical management experience including designing, developing and implementing complex projects across the Gulf region.
