Hello friends, welcome back! On Friday, Daddy Dan announced that workers are free to return to the office without a cap on numbers (but still adhering to those pesky density levels). Whilst this is a resounding cornerstone of our hard work over the past year to return to "normal" life, it also spells the end of WFH arrangements for most office workers. Some are more pleased than others...
So today, we are taking you through your basic minimum employment rights (your National Employment Standards, or NES) and we discuss whether your NES rights give you grounds to request to continue to work from home. The short answer is possibly but it is best to chat to your employer or Fairwork once you know your basic rights!
