The original group consisted of Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Ole Anderson, and Tully Blanchard. This was the horsemen who terrorized the NWA until Ole Anderson's retirement after a neck injury. Jim Crockett Promotions, 1988 - Lex Luger and Barry Windham were feuding with the hated stable of The Four Horsemen. At Clash Of Champions in March of 1988, the duo managed to topple Tag Team Champions Arn Anderson and Tully Blanchard to win the coveted titles. Their reign did not last long, because the following month The Horsemen got their revenge! And not only that, they recruited the member that would arguably make the team its strongest incarnation with Ric Flair, Arn Anderson, Tully Blanchard, and now Barry Windham!
