This weekend we talked about an important concept as a church, our LEGACY. In the weekend message, we spent time in Matthew 27.
In that passage we read the story of Joseph of Arimathea who offered his burial tomb to house Jesus’ body after the crucifixion. His preparation lead him to be able to do something significant when he offered what he had to the Lord. It is a good thing to work on a plan for your future. Your finances, your career, ministry etc.
The issue arises when we hold TOO TIGHTLY to what we have been blessed with. We hoard for ourselves. Oftentimes a poverty/limited mentality prevents us from living an open handed life TRUSTING God with all of our resources.
