#5 Bigger didn’t fix what was broken in me.

Fix the cracks, don't just fill it. The flaws continue to grow. "Success" may never seem good enough.

What are you trying to fill the cracks with?

For a fleeting moment it feels good, but it leaves us wanting more.

Kintsugi is the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold

#6 Don't play it safe, go for broke

I'm not saying to build margin or budget. BUT realize you will have to take risks and go for it, all in! Multiple times, multiple moments. When you know that God is speaking to you, go for it!

“The opportunity of a lifetime must be seized within the lifetime of the opportunity.” Leonard Ravenhill

#7 You'll be successful in 10 years

It takes time and work. Success isn't achieved in a day, it's achieved daily.

F. M. Alexander — 'People do not decide their futures, they decide their habits and their habits decide their futures.'

Faithfulness leads to fruitfulness! Show up every day and put in the work.

Keep consistent.

We do the same 4 things we've always done.

1. Weekend Services

2. Next Steps

3. Groups

4. Outreach

Now these have gotten tweaked, grown, etc. The programing never changed, it took time to work the plan.

If you've got the right systems in place, keep it going. Stop jumping around.

Atomic Habits by James Clear - 1% change daily would result in 37 x better! You will value it more if it takes time

Galatians 6:9, "So let us not grow weary in doing what is right, for we will reap at harvest time, if we do not give up."

#8 Pay it Forward

Be for other people what other people weren't for you. Be what you needed! What did you need "back then", give that to someone else who's a few steps behind.

Use your blessing to bless others. Sow into other people.

Your need is also your seed. Plant that need in other people's life.

What someone has done for you that encouraged you greatly, REMEMBER that - and do it for someone else!
