Romans 3:25-26 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Romans 1:17 For in the gospel the righteousness of God is revealed- a righteousness that is by faith from first to last, just as it is written: “The righteous will live by faith”.
I am LIVING by FAITH
Your ACCESS to everything significant in God’s kingdom happens through FAITH.
Hebrews 11:1 Now faith is the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things not seen.
Faith is TRUST
Hebrews 11:6 without faith it is impossible to please God
God is PLEASED when we TRUST Him.
Romans 12:3 For by the grace given me I say to every one of you: Do not think of yourself more highly than you ought, but rather think of yourself with sober judgment, in accordance with the faith God has distributed to each of you
Ephesians 2:8 For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—
Romans 10:17 Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
The more you HEAR God, the more faith is DEPOSITED in your LIFE from God.
Romans 3:22-24 This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile, for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God, and all are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus.
JUSTIFICATION- just as if I had NEVER sinned
Romans 3:25-26 God presented Christ as a sacrifice of atonement, through the shedding of his blood—to be received by faith. He did it to demonstrate his righteousness at the present time, so as to be just and the one who justifies those who have faith in Jesus.
Galatians 2:16 know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ.
RIGHTEOUSNESS- Right standing WITH God
Romans 4:2-3 If, in fact, Abraham was justified by works, he had something to boast about—but not before God. What does Scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.”
Romans 4:23-24 The words “it was credited to him” were written not for him alone, but also for us, to whom God will credit righteousness—for us who believe in him who raised Jesus our Lord from the dead.
Our righteousness has nothing to do with what I DO but it has to do with what He DID.
GRACE-the EMPOWERMENT to live for God
Romans 5:1-2 Therefore, since we have been justified through faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ, through whom we have gained access by faith into this grace in which we now stand.
The same grace that SAVED you is the same grace that will SUSTAIN you.
The trial you are going through isn’t to BREAK you but to BUILD you.
Romans 4:18-21 Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed and so became the father of many nations, just as it had been said to him, “So shall your offspring be.” Without weakening in his faith, he faced the fact that his body was as good as dead—since he was about a hundred years old—and that Sarah’s womb was also dead. Yet he did not waver through unbelief regarding the promise of God, but was strengthened in his faith and gave glory to God, being fully persuaded that God had power to do what he had promised.
Faith is either EXERCIESED or ELIMINATED.
Trusting God doesn’t ELIMINATE problems. Trusting God is a CHOICE to believe that God will use my problems for a greater PURPOSE.
