If you want to experience the life of JESUS, you have to adopt the LIFESTYLE of Jesus.
3 John 2 Dear friend, I pray that you may enjoy good health and that all may go well with you, even as your soul is getting along well. You want to experience a miracle, SLOW DOWN.
John 11:5-6 Now Jesus loved Martha and her sister and Lazarus. So when he heard that Lazarus was sick, he stayed where he was two more days,
John 11:17-18 On his arrival, Jesus found that Lazarus had already been in the tomb for four days. Now Bethany was less than two miles from Jerusalem, Jesus had the most important ASSIGNMENT on the planet, and yet He was never in a HURRY.
Mark 5:22-25 Then a leader of the local synagogue, whose name was Jairus, arrived. When he saw Jesus, he fell at his feet, pleading fervently with him. “My little daughter is dying,” he said. “Please come and lay your hands on her; heal her so she can live.” Jesus went with him, and all the people followed, crowding around him. A woman in the crowd had suffered for twelve years with constant bleeding.
Mark 5:33 Then the woman, knowing what had happened to her, came and fell at his feet and, trembling with fear, told him the whole truth.
Mark 5:34-36 He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace and be freed from your suffering.” While Jesus was still speaking, some people came from the house of Jairus, the synagogue leader. “Your daughter is dead,” they said. “Why bother the teacher anymore?”
Overhearing what they said, Jesus told him, “Don’t be afraid; just believe.”
We aren’t HEALTHY because we are always in a HURRY.
Hurry Sickness: A behavior pattern characterized by continual rushing and anxiousness.

Jesus was PRODUCTIVE, but He was never RUSHED.
If we follow an UNRUSHED Jesus, then we should be living an UNRUSHED life.

Slow down to be with GOD.
Luke 5:15-16 Yet the news about him spread all the more, so that crowds of people came to hear him and to be healed of their sicknesses. But Jesus often withdrew to lonely places and prayed.
If you are too busy to SEEK God, you are too BUSY.

Slow down to make a DIFFERENCE with PEOPLE.

You must slow down in order to SEE.

Matthew 11:28-30 Then Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you. Let me teach you, because I am humble and gentle at heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy to bear, and the burden I give you is light.”
