For the second year in a row, Cherokee artist Carolyn Pallett took home the Grand Prize at the Cherokee Homecoming Art Show. Taking inspiration from the winged designs found etched in ancient Southeastern pottery, Pallett talks about the process and meaning behind her winning bandolier bag titled “Still We Rise” in this Artist Spotlight.
