I agree with the opinion that PKN is one of the programs / ways to preserve the value of citizenship in the era of globalization in line with the objectives of Citizenship Education according to the National Education Standards Agency (BSNP), namely as follows: 1. Think critically, rationally, and creatively in dealing with problems citizenship. 2. Participate actively and responsibly and act intelligently in social, national and state activities. 3. Develop positively and democratically to shape themselves in accordance with the character of the Indonesian nation so that they can live side by side with other nations. 4. Interacting with other nations in the world arena directly by utilizing information and communication technology. PPKn learning objectives are focused on the aspects of fostering the attitudes and personality of students so that they become good citizens, namely goodness to God, both to their country and good to others by being able to show one of the attitudes of responsibility as citizens (civic responsibility) and having civic skills ) which are good in the form of participatory skills in the decision-making process (participation skills). Besides that, the social programs in the PKN curriculum are very effective in maintaining social values in students so that the character of the Indonesian nation remains attached in the midst of this globalization era.
