15 Change Agents in Nehemiah 3:
- Recognize individuals matter to God (every person, every role)
- Connect the world’s brokenness to your ministry
- A BIG vision requires “all hands on deck”
- Let go without letting up (delegation)
- Shake people out of their apathy
- Unity amongst diversity (“next to him”)
- Focus on tasks closest to home (“opposite his own house”)
- Leaders lead the way (the spiritual leaders went first)
- Invest in something bigger than yourself (Tekoites lived 5 miles away)
- Be willing to “stoop to serve the Lord”
- Don’t let people who stop the work, pull off the wall
- Serve where you are needed, not jut where you are gifted
- Be 100% committed (the whole city gave of themselves for 52 days!)
- Have more than just a motivational speech
- Take care of your section of the wall (you can’t rebuild everything but you can do your part)
