Religion tries to change us from the outside in, but the Gospel transforms us from the inside out. Paul shows that the law could expose sin but never fix it—only the Holy Spirit can bring real righteousness, freedom, and lasting change. In Christ, the veil is lifted so we can see God clearly.True transformation doesn’t come from striving; it happens as we draw near to Jesus and behold Him, being changed “from one degree of glory to another.” The closer we stay to Him, the more we begin to look like Him.
