We live in a narcissistic society where everything is about me, me, me, me, me… Look at me, did you see me do this, blah blah blah. That’s good and all but life doesn’t revolve you. Here’s a challenge for you today: Think of something simple or out of the box that you can do for someone else that will make them look at you and say, “Aw that was kind and thoughtful.”
A short thoughtful story: Our family motto is “Family members help each other” and at this particular time in my life I was transitioning with looking for a job. Anyways, I receive a call from my sister and she gave me some words of encouragement saying, “I’m never to busy for you, if you need any help with going over interview questions or whatever I’m here for you and want to see you succeed!” Hearing these words meant the word to me and I thanked her and said, “How thoughtful.”
