This week we will be joined by Brianna Baker (she/her), co-founder of Black In Mental Health.

Brianna is a first-year Counseling Psychology PhD student at Columbia University's Teachers College studying intersectional approaches to mental health and wellness at the individual, community, and policy level. In 2019, she graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill for undergrad with a double major in Psychology and Interdisciplinary Studies where she created her own public health major on African American Community Health and Wellness. Brianna started a YouTube Channel called "Becoming Dr Baker" in 2020 to provide educational videos about Black mental health, increasing representation in the academy, and mental health activism.
