In today's episode of The Farm Team podcast I am honored to be Kenzie Grafton. Kenzie comes from one of the most athletically gifted families in all of Southern Alberta. Born and raised in the picture perfect town of Picture Butte, Alberta where she developed as a multi-sport athlete before dedicating herself full-time to the sport of Volleyball. Throughout her athletic journey Kenzie was awarded numerous personal and team accolades and in 2010 she graduated from St. Francis Xavier University located in Antigonish, Nova Scotia.
As she progressed through competitive sports and earned herself an athletic and academic scholarship to STFX she will be the first to tell you that through all the successes she’s had it did not come without its hardships. But, like any true athlete, she was able to turn those trials into triumphs and has recently launched the “Clean by Kenzie” platform, which is a business focused on female empowerment, physical wellbeing, and mental health.
Kenzie’s athletic, academic, and life experiences have provided her with an incredible opportunity to help educate the next generation of student-athletes on the importance of self-care and the positive impact it can have in a team environment. She is here today to impart her knowledge and wisdom on the experience of a female athlete and I look forward to learning more about how sports have shaped the person she is today.
