Today's episode I am joined by a good friend and former Merrimack College teammate, Pat Bowen. Pat graduated as team captain for the Warriors in 2010 and continued his hockey career to the professional ranks for 3 seasons split between the Ontario Reign of the ECHL and the Dundee Stars of the EIHL in the United Kingdom.
We talk about growing up and playing minor hockey in different states before landing back in Massachusetts where he played for the South Shore Kings. Followed by 2 years at Promfet School in Connecticut and two junior seasons for the Chicago Steel and the New Hampshire Jr. Monarchs. Pat and I have a great convo about his experience at Merrimack and what it was like to play in Hockey East. We talk about his leadership development over the course of his hockey career and how it has translated into his current role with the Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department. Plus a TON more!!
