Description

In Acts 21:1-14, Paul shows unwavering commitment to God’s will, pressing on to Jerusalem despite warnings of persecution and imprisonment. Despite pleas from friends and a prophecy from Agabus about his coming suffering, Paul declares, “I am ready not only to be bound, but even to die in Jerusalem for the name of the Lord Jesus” (Acts 21:13). His resolve mirrors Jesus’ trust in God’s plan. The passage teaches that obedience to God may bring hardship, but the gospel’s value surpasses any loss, challenging believers to trust God’s call over comfort.
