Today we share the interview with the brilliant Dr Jacqueline Lloyd on the topics of her testimony, her vocational ministry (which is rich, tapestried, and enthralling), and her opinions regarding “Christians and the need for higher learning in Christ’s Body:
• Doctorate on ‘The Itinerant Ministry of Jesus of Nazareth as archaeological verifiable by the Gospel of Mark”
• Theological Consultant to a variety of Educational Institutions: NZCPT, Laidlaw College, Carey Baptist College, Otago University, YWAM etc
• Teacher of over 20+ years experience, from New Entrant to Upper Tertiary
• Experience in a series of Archaeological Digs/excavations in the Holy Land
• Involved in Church Planting in UK, associated with the Vineyard Churches
For the wealth of experience and wisdom this woman possesses, she is profoundly accessible and quintessentially a teacher. Given the similar outworked theme of teaching in her life and service is Jesus’ Kingdom, she possesses an uncanny knack for adjusting the complexity and translation of her ideas; this is something I have come to appreciate having seen her teach in a number of the contexts listed above. It is truly wonderful to see how this sister has been used by our Lord so interestingly in any variety of contexts to equip the saints towards a greater love of Jesus via the use of their minds in worship. With a good mix of anecdote and academic discussion, this is a cast I know you will be blessed for viewing.
