With so many games happening this weekend, the Wild Card podcast will be broken into two parts. In part One of our Super Wild Card episodes, Alex and I preview Saturday's Wild Card action. Starting tomorrow afternoon, six games will excite football fans with the hopes and dreams in making a deep playoff run to the Super Bowl in tampa.
First, the Indianpolis Colts take on the Buffalo Bills - hosting their first playoff game in 25 years. Bills quarterback Josh Allen's 37 passing touchdowns will look to carry the Bills offense. Meanwhile, Colts starting quarterback Phillip Rivers, rookie Jonathan Taylor, and receiver TY Hilton will be looking to spoil Orchard Park's first playoff game in a quarter-century. With confidence, we both love the Bills to win, with one of us making a bold quarantee!
In the middle game. NFC rivals LA Rams and Seattle Seahawks meet for the third time this season. Both teams come into this game with offenses struggling for points. The Rams have scored just 71 points in their last four games, includingjust nine in a Week 16 loss in Seattle. The Seahawks have averaged 22 points in their last three wins. With disagreeing views, Alex loves Russell Wilson and the Seahawks to win while I am picking the Rams in a mini upset.
In tomorrow's nightcap, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers will meet the Washington Football, as Tom Brady plays his first playoff game as Tampa's starting quarterback. Despite a 7-9 record, the WFT is coming into tomorrow's game winning five of seven games. Alex loves the GOAT to comfortably win while I believe Ron Rivera, Chase Young, and the WFT will challenge TB12.
