Welcome to the IASFM20 podcast series
Earlier this year, RDI UREF in collaboration with the Department of Anthropology, Faculty of Cultural Sciences, Universitas Gadjah Mada, organized the 20th International Association for the Study of Forced Migration Conference (IASFM20), taking the topic of “Forced Displacement in an Urbanizing World.
Following the conference, we produced this podcast series to share the conference highlights with you. In this first episode, Akino Tahir, the IASFM20 Conference Chair, opens the podcast series with a snapshot of what the series will include. Veronica Fynn Bruey and Staci Martin from the IASFM Executive Committee also introduce IASFM and share their impressions on attending the conference in Indonesia.
