Is there a particular character in pop culture that you just cannot stand?
There’s nothing necessarily wrong with this person. They’re not bigoted or toxic. Other people in the fandom seem to love them.
But you can’t. Something about them just makes you roll your eyes every time they’re on screen.
That character may just represent one of your shadows.
Perhaps they give you the icks because they remind you of a trait or characteristic you’ve rejected. Walking with these characters and examining their motivations can help us reintegrate some of our most intimidating shadows.
