Names.
Each of us has one, but we likely don’t think about it much. Yet, they carry so much weight, so much meaning. So much power.
At their core, names are frequencies of sound applied to all kinds of things. Humans. Pets. Cars. Places. Events. Those frequencies penetrate and meld with the identity of the things they reference, essentially changing the way we perceive those very words.
For this reason, naming is one of the most potent kinds of magick that exists. It’s also one of the simplest.
