The Nigeria Labour Congress, NLC in five states and the federal capital territory embarked on strike action yesterday according to the directive issued by the President of the labour union, Joe Ajaero.
This has led to affected states asking the questions of why will the state governments not pay the benchmark of #70,000 or beyond. Some of the affected states claimed they are in close consultation with the government of their state.
Meanwhile, the 18billion naira flyover constructed by the Lalong administration is under renovation barely two years since commissioning of the project. Hence, the call for quality infrastructure in the state by it's citizens.
