On Thursday the memories went back to the 1993 Presidential election that was won by Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (MKO ABIOLA) as he defeated Bashir Tofa in the June 12 of the same year even though the election was later annulled by the military.
Former Head of State, Ibrahim Badamosi Babangida said while unveiling his book that the annulment was done by late Gen. Sani Abacha and it was for the best interest of Abiola and his cohorts.
