Meet Air Force Veteran Alex Mimms of the Dallas- Ft Worth, Texas area. After 10 years of being Security Forces (3P071), Alex served and continues to serve as an Air Force Professional Military Education Instructor (81TO). Alex also has his hands in the workings of Vets2Industry as the AVP, Operations, and Strategy. Vets2Industry is a nationwide nonprofit organization supporting military veterans. Alex’s finds purpose in, “Helping veterans discover opportunity through career clarity and branding.” At VETS2INDUSTRY, Alex alleviates anxiety and gives hope to transitioning service members by developing Linkedin profiles, crafting personal brand strategies, networking coaching, resume assistance, and an expansive online library of information. I direct veteran service operations and associated cross-functional teams to ensure career consulting service, information technology, strategy, and marketing teams align with our core vision. Responsible for 17 direct reports. We are changing the military transition and giving hope to veterans and military spouses in career searching. We change lives one engagement at a time.
