This week Eric, Nicky, and special guest Shelby Harmes discuss the past, present, and future of Animal Crossing: New Horizons by Nintendo in a Plucky Aficionado episode of Press any Button. Animal Crossing New Horizons is a real time social simulation game developed and published by Nintendo for the Switch. You control a character who moves to a deserted island after purchasing a getaway package from Tom Nook, playing the game in a nonlinear fashion and developing the island as you choose. You can gather and craft items, customize the island, and develop it into a community of anthropomorphic animals.

For every video game they will discuss its past (history of the game, developers story, and fun facts), present (game play, game review and strategy), and future (will there be a sequel?? A movie?)
