When Jesus washes the disciple's feet we see the Lord of lords taking the form of a humble servant. The call on our lives is to follow his example and serve those around us. At the same time, washing the feet of his disciples pointed towards a greater washing. At the cross, Jesus would shed his blood to wash our sins away. So, serve others and hope in Christ.
