Description

When I talk about fear of weight loss people think, “That’s ridiculous, why would I ever be scared of losing weight?”. Of course we’re not scared of the surface part of weight loss, physically seeing the scale go to a smaller number, what we fear are the emotional aspects of weight loss. Weight loss, body image, and diet culture are extremely emotional and it's time to get real about it.

EP 20 discusses 3 fears around weight loss:

-Fear of failure, or more commonly, fear of failing again.

-Fear that you're undeserving possibly caused from bullying, relationships, or even bonding.

-Fear it won't be the key to happiness you believe it to be.
