The word love is mentioned over 400 times in God’s word. It’s mentioned 78 times in the books that John wrote reflecting almost 20% of the times love is spoken of in the Bible. The Bible says that God is love and that if we love God, we will love our brothers and sisters in Christ and even our enemies. Love is powerful but love has to have action. We saw the love of many in action in the wars of this world that have secured our freedoms. But there is no greater love than that which was shown on Calvary when Christ died for all of man.
