The Gold Star Club is the need for approval and validation. The Gold Star Club is our way of making ourselves likeable to others. We earn gold stars by pleasing others and being what we think we are supposed to be. On today’s episode I talk about the ways in which I earned gold stars and how I unknowingly inducted my children into the gold star club.
